Ready to start writing the next chapter of your life?

Trauma is not something that simply goes away or is solved overnight. Nor is it something you can talk away. Everyone's journey differs and everyone processes in their own way and their own time. But one thing is true: whether you've experienced a small setback or a major trauma, it's easy to lose parts of yourself in the process.

It takes a lot of courage to ask for help because you must be ready to do the work, and sometimes the work is hard.

At Counseling for Restoration, we'll spend the necessary time to reflect on and discuss past traumatic events but it's important to know that talking is only one step in our process.

Together, we'll come up with a plan that uses both talk and action to help you process both past events and any false beliefs that have grown out of them. We'll use exercises proven to help stop your brain from reacting as if it's in danger. And we'll find ways to bring stability and beauty to your life, in even the most difficult situations.
