Our Practitioners

Sarah E. Klein, MA, LPCC

Owner/Founder

Sarah became a counselor as a result of her own lived experience with sexual trauma, anxiety, and depression and in finding eventual healing in counseling. Because she personally understands the work it takes to heal, she truly empathizes with her clients and applauds everyone who chooses to embark on their own healing journey. Through her own work, she has come to realize that everyone is stronger than they realize and that no one is truly alone. She feels blessed to help counsel and comfort others for a living and is committed to personally practicing what she preaches.

Sarah's passion is trauma work, and she has a wealth of experience helping both women and men find release from a past that keeps them stuck and robs them of living in the present. She specializes in working with women who are dealing with the impact of sexual trauma, low self-esteem, poor self-confidence, codependency and relationship issues, and also provides counseling for depression, anxiety and phase-of-life issues like getting married or divorced, having children, and becoming an empty nester.

Sarah is a graduate of Ashland Theological Seminary with a Master of Arts in Clinical Counseling. She also has a bachelor degree in Business Administration from Franklin University. She is independently licensed by the State of Ohio Counselor, Social Worker, Marriage & Therapy Board (License No. E1200016) and is a member of the Ohio Counseling Association and the EMDR International Association.

Sarah is also an EMDR Certified Therapist. She completed her training in 2014 and participates in ongoing EMDR Consultation.
